My daughter loves cats.

The sparkle in their eyes, their purr, and their gestures.

Each one of them is irreplaceable to her.

I love the way she looks at them from afar and smiles.

She said,

"I want to look at it forever."

"I want to touch it."

But when the cat comes near her, she runs away.

It's not that she's scared.

It's not that she suddenly hates it.

She can't "touch" them.

She is extremely allergic to cats and cannot touch them.

Even indirect contact with a wall or post that has been touched by a cat can cause symptoms. In severe cases, she can go into anaphylactic shock and have difficulty breathing.

She loves cats, but she has no choice but to keep them away.

The dilemma is with her.

CyberCats has been devised to make her happy.

I make them and my daughter judges them.

There are countless works that were not selected.

娘はネコが大好きです。
瞳の輝きや鳴き声、そして仕草。
そのどれをとっても、彼女にとってはかけがえのない物。
遠くから眺めては、微笑む姿が愛らしい。
"いつまでも見ていたい"
"触りたい"

しかしネコが近寄って来ると、彼女は逃げ出してしまう。

決して彼女は怖がっている訳では無い。

急に嫌いになった訳でもない。

彼女はネコ達に"触れられない"

彼女は極度のネコアレルギーを持っていて触れるわけにはいかないのだ。

ネコが触れた壁や柱に間接的に触れても症状が発症する。酷い時にはアナフィラキシーショックを起こし、呼吸困難に陥ることもある。

"ネコが大好き"なのに"遠ざけるしかない"

ジレンマが彼女と共にある。

そんな彼女に喜んで貰えるように工夫を凝らしたCyberCats。

私が作り、娘が審査する。

落選した作品は数知れず。
